Warner Bros. Has Released Multiple Teasers and a Website For ‘The Matrix Resurrections’

Listed as one of the most anticipated movies of 2021, The Matrix Resurrections is set to be released on December 22nd of this year. Fans have been waiting years for a first look at the long-awaited fourth chapter of the legendary franchise, and Warner Bros. has just given fans much more than they ever expected.

Warner Bros. has resurrected the WhatIsTheMatrix.com website, which was first launched with the original movie in 1999. The website has 180,000 different teaser videos about Matrix Resurrections for visitors to watch. The website first takes you to a page where you have to make a choice. Per usual with the Matrix, you have to choose between the blue pill or the red pill.

Depending on the choice you make and the time of day, you will see a unique teaser video with narration and footage of the upcoming film. Keanu Reeves as Neo is shown taking blue pills in several of the film’s trailers, presumably to forget about the real world. In other clips, the sentinels are shown in all of their terrifying majesty.

Fans can spend hours looking through all of the footage on the website to get clues about what the film will be about. However, Warner Bros. has also just released the first full trailer which you can view below.

For years, the details surrounding The Matrix Resurrections has been kept tightly under wraps by Warner Bros. but with the debut of the first poster, the website, thousands of clips, and the first trailer this Thursday, it’s clear that we’re about to see heavy promotion for this 4th installment.

The Matrix Resurrections features returning stars Carrie-Ann Moss, Keanu Reeves, and Jada Pinkett Smith as Trinity, Neo, and Niobe. Unfortunately, Lawrence Fishburn will not be reprising his role as Morpheus. The Matrix Resurrections will be released on HBO Max and in theaters on December 22nd.

Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson To Co-Star In Action Movie From ‘Deadpool’ Writers

Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are known to star alongside each other as Captain America and Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
