Earlier this year, it was announced that hip-hop artist Bad Bunny would join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, another rapper is joining the MCU family.

Megan Thee Stallion will make her Marvel debut in the Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. Megan Thee Stallion is a rapper who originally became famous from freestyling videos posted on social media platforms.

Megan Thee Stallion was born in 1995 and grew up in Houston, Texas. Her first single “Like a Stallion” was released in 2016. She quickly rose in popularity and released her debut studio album “Good News” in 2020. Megan Thee Stallion has broken many glass ceilings as a female rapper and she plans to turn her attention to acting next.

An interview with The Cut revealed that Megan Thee Stallion will play a role in the She-Hulk series. It’s unclear what Megan Thee Stallion’s role will be in the series but there it has been reported that she will be playing a version of herself and she has a stunt double for the performance.

Stallion doesn’t plan to stop at She-Hulk with acting. She is also cast in A24’s musical comedy Fucking Identical Twins and has been inspired by Queen Latifah along with Ice Cube to make the transition from hip hop to Hollywood.

“When I look at them, it inspires me to take it further than just music. I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.” – Megan Thee Stallion

She-Hulk is a Marvel series that centers around Jennifer Walters, an attorney who is also the cousin of Bruce Banner/The Hulk, as she navigates being able to turn into a green 6-foot-7-inch super-powered Hulk after accidentally coming into contact with her cousin’s blood.
